San Diego, CA (PRWEB) June 06, 2014

Loveseat, a second hand clothinging store market app and website designed to connect local buyers and sellers of stylish, unique and hard-to-find items, today announced the debut of its platform in its flagship city of San Diego. With Loveseats person-to-person marketplace concept, consumers can connect with local sellers, pay for items and schedule deliveries for an interactive and hassle-free second hand clothinging store shopping experience.

We realized during our move to San Diego from the East Coast that selling and shopping for quality, vintage pieces of second hand clothinging store is not easy, said Chris Stanchak, who founded Loveseat along with his wife, Jenny. We developed Loveseat to provide people with a reputable, easy-to-use platform that connects retailers and consumers and were thrilled to be launching it first in San Diego where the company is headquartered.

During development stages, the duo worked together to combine Chriss background in ecommerce and mobile payments with Jennys expertise in software engineering and iOS development. Chris previously worked as the founder of TicketLeap, while Jenny was a software engineer for Venmo.

With Loveseat, buyers can browse items locally based on geographic area, save and share favorite items, bid on items with any major credit card and contact sellers directly through the platform to avoid having to share personal contact information. Sellers can set a minimum price on listed items, share listings through social media to connect to prospective buyers, and have the option to enable Loveseat delivery to entice new buyers.

Buyers and sellers can download the Loveseat App for free through the App Store, or create a free profile online at Loveseat Used Furniture App. There is no fee to list a piece of second hand clothinging store through Loveseat; sellers are charged three percent only once they sell an item, and buyers pay a 10 percent fee on top of the item price.

Read more about: Maternity Clothes Discount

(PRWEB) October 25, 2013, a one-of-its-kind private deals website, is launching on October 28, 2013. Both retailers and manufacturers will list their limited time sales on the website and after the completion of the sale, will make a bulk order to the retailer/manufacturer for shipping those products.

Today, the internet is flooded with e-commerce websites that sell just about everything online to people who like shopping while sitting in the comfort of their homes. These online stores often come up with some great sales, offers and discounts from different brands but those offers do not always specifically cater to moms. is a new concept in private deals, which will offer only discounted products from manufacturers and retailers of products usually purchased by moms, such as shoes, baby stuff, toys, household items, clothes and maternity accessories.

Modish Moms puts a new spin on an old model that they call, momsourcing. What sets us apart from the rest is were actually two moms running this business, we know what moms want, we interact with them and get our members opinions too, they even get to vote on items that we will go after and try and get. Its really a big community of moms joining together to get better shopping experiences and cheaper prices, we call it momsourcing, said Rebekah Hawkins, co-owner of Modish Moms.

The private sales website will begin sharing private shopping deals on October 28, but online shoppers can sign-up now, for free, as an exclusive member. Only the members who register with the website will get details of the discounted products.

The concept of is fairly simple; it receives a list of sales from both manufacturers and retailers and puts it on the website. They notify their subscribers via email. After the completion of the sales, the website makes a bulk order either with the manufacturer or retailer for shipment of the purchased products. Elaborating on this, Rebekah Hawkins, co-owner, was quoted as saying – After the sale ends we put in one bulk order to the manufacturer or retailer; they ship us the items and we ship them to our customers, its a win-win situation.

Apart from this, there is also a refer-a-friend program where, the customers can get $ 20 worth of store credit after the shipment of the product purchased by a person referred by them.

Talking more on this, Tamar Grynewicz, co-owner said – When you refer a friend you have the opportunity to earn store credit, and lot’s of it. For every friend you refer to our site, you get 200 points once they make a purchase; that’s $ 20 in-store credit to buy whatever you want, whenever you want! There’s no cap so, the more you refer, the more you can earn.

Shmoop Launches College 101 Updates to Help Students with 2013-2014 College Admissions Process

Read this latest announcement about: Prom Dresses 2011

Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) October 15, 2013

For most students, the changing leaves and smell of pumpkins signify the start of holiday-flavored lattes, trick-or-treating, and other seasonal shenanigans. Unfortunately for high school seniors, October is also now synonymous with looming college application deadlines. Early decision applications are due in November and FAFSA becomes available in January, which means college bound seniors need to start shaping up their essays, test scores, and grades – stat. Its a lot to process, but luckily Shmoop, one of the worlds largest digital publisher of educational guides and resources, launched its newly revamped College 101 just in time to take students sweaty-palmed hands through this all-important decision.

Shmoops updated sections now feature a newly-updated College Essay Lab, checklists for every step of the admissions process, financial aid advice, and a mad libs style assessment quiz that recommends relevant articles for you.

College Essay Lab

Writers block is bad enough, but having writers block two hours before the application-to-determine-the-rest-of-your-life is due really sucks. Shmoops new College Essay Lab is designed to prevent this from happening for students, whether its warming up their creative juices with dozens of brainstorming exercises and personal statement examples, or narrowing down their focus so their essay really shines in front of those stone-faced admissions officers. All essay prompts are also adjusted to include the 2013 – 2014 Common Application prompts so students can actually use it when its time for the real thing!

Master Checklists

For students who want to up their game before they become seniors, Shmoop has checklists by grade level written by students and experts who provide excellent guidance. (The main takeaway for middle school students – take a breather and relax!) For the more imminent tasks related to college admissions, students of all ages can take a sneak peek at the Senior Year Checklist to see what standardized tests to take, what the top deciding factors for choosing a college are, or what the the difference between early action vs. regular admissions is (other than, early action is, well, earlier). After all that work is done, theyll finally be able to check off the last item on the list after theyre admitted: how to prepare for college!

Financial Aid/Scholarships

Once students complete these steps, theyre ready to ask the million dollar question – how much does it really cost to go to college? What is the difference between grants, loans, and scholarships and how can they get one? Shmoop gives the real deal with the Real Costs of College page and lays down a comprehensive guide to teach students how to hack the FAFSA, apply for financial aid, and apply to more scholarships than you can dream of (theres even one for designing the best duct tape second hand clothes. Shmoop even has a section on how to be smart with money once students are actually in college so they don’t go broke buying energy drinks to pull all-nighters. (Note: Shmoop is pro-sleep and is therefore not endorsed by any energy drink companies.)

Shmoops College Assessment

If students are feeling overwhelmed and dont know where to start, Shmoops created a fun, madlibs style fill-in-the-blank quiz that personalizes and recommends content to help them on their totally clutch collegiate campaign. Whether students are juniors who want to get recruited for Division 1 fencing or a freshman who is freaking out, the quiz helps them get organized, narrow down their focus, and generate relevant recommended articles that will help them figure out that pesky future business in no time at all.

So wipe those palms, roll up those sleeves, and get started on the college journey by visiting today.
